Hi, I’m Cherisse — interior designer, founder of Cherisse Blizard Interiors, and the heart behind this online space where beautiful design meets real life at home.
I started my business in April 2020, when my firstborn son was just five months old. Becoming a mom clarified everything for me: I wanted a career that let me stay home with my babies and pursue something I truly loved. What began as a small creative outlet quickly grew into an interior design studio and an online destination for design inspiration, thoughtful living, and approachable style.
My love for interiors really took shape years earlier while living in Australia with my husband, Dean. Those years grounded my aesthetic in natural textures, coastal ease, and lived-in warmth — influences that continue to shape all of my work today. During that time, I studied interior design, adding to my design-centric background in Product Development from FIDM in Los Angeles.
In 2020, Dean and I moved to the Jersey Shore where we now raise our two little ones. From our cozy corner of the shore, I’ve built an online studio that makes great design accessible no matter where you are — whether you’re simply browsing curated concepts and moodboards on the blog or you’re ready for a fully customized virtual interior design plan tailored to your home.
